Halloween is here and with it comes a great deal of fun, festive things we all tend to enjoy during the autumn season. However, due to the nature of the holiday and all the preparations of candy and Halloween costumes, it can also be quite a stressful one for some.

To find some solace this spooky season, here are some things you can do for your well-being this Halloween:

Go for a stroll and enjoy the foliage.

Take a stroll and experience the crisp, fresh air and colors of autumn this Halloween. And if there happens to be a pile of leaves around, embrace your inner child and jump in!

Participate in festive activities.

Not everything has to be about trick-or-treating. Halloween festivities can include whatever you want! Go apple picking, carve a pumpkin, or join in on local community events that will have you socializing rather than stressing.

Cleanse your home.

Let your home be your safe space. You can decorate, organize, or tidy it up. Just remember to sage, light some scented candles, and/or use some essential oils around your home to make it feel like a sanctuary.

Reach out to a friend

Have a buddy to spend Halloween with. Being with good company can be calming during times of stress. Call a friend over, costume optional, and enjoy a Halloween movie or bake a pumpkin pie together (recipe suggestion below!).
