Happy Election Day to you all!
Have you voted? If not, please stop reading this and get yourselves to those polling stations and make some change today.
For me, I have found that election day can feel tense, full of anxieties, hope and excitement. Recent statistics have shown that 68% of people are stressed by the election, it really does affect us, doesn’t it?
It’s been a politically tense time this past year, but that only inspires me further to speak up for what’s right and support politicians that I trust and believe in.
Let’s manage this together.
Here are 3 ways to keep calm and collected during this election day:
Use your vote wisely: Get yourself clued up on current affairs that matter to you. Trust your intuition and you shouldn’t have to worry about much else.
Try not to think about it: You’ve voted, you’ve done all you can do. Try to stay away from the media, as that can definitely be stress-inducing and spend time with friends and family.
Have hope: There’s no reason to be sad about an election when the votes haven’t been counted yet. Positivity is infectious - spread some!
