A New Way to Look at New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year beautiful souls! How did you welcome in the new year? Socially-distanced kisses I hope!

Do you have any resolutions on your list for 2021? I, for one, am not big on New Year resolutions. I love the idea, and I am all for bettering myself, however, I find them overly ambitious and hate how disappointed you feel if you break any of them!  Self-improvement and self-work is a process, so be kind with yourself.

So let’s try something new:

New Years Suggestions!

I dislike the term ‘new year, new me’. The pressure to lose 10 pounds, eat vegan, or save X amount of money can be overwhelming and reductive. Plus the 2020 you is pretty darn perfect to me!

Think less about what you can change about yourself and instead, what you would like to see more of in your life.

Let’s think about it more in terms of growth rather than a complete change!

Instead of the vague statement ‘Spend less money’, change it to ‘I will spend more money on memories and less on material things’.

Or

‘Cook more!’, change that to ‘I will spend more time on delicious home-cooked meals, at least 4 times a week!’

Be sure to get specific with your statements! You want to make sure the progress you’re making is measurable.   Manifestation and positive affirmations are a great way to do this. When you’re specific, you can achieve it!

Learn more about manifestation in my blog: A Guide To Manifestation

If you are interested in embracing manifestation in 2021, you’ll LOVE this 100-Day Guided Manifestation Journal to start your year right!

You’ll see the universe do it’s magic, if only you believe it.

I’m looking forward to helping you on your paths in 2021. I have so many exciting things coming up, so be sure to stay tuned.
