Tarot cards are probably older than you think! Tarot cards have been used as a spiritual tool since the 14th century- and that is just the recorded history of them. However, what we think of when we see a tarot card is a rather modern-day conception…or rather an 18th-century one.
This month it is time to wake up from the fatigue of winter and hibernation. Usually, at this time of year, I start to feel a bit more energized, and embrace the changing season. However, I feel that it is often more than a change in temperature or weather - something in me awakens!
This month will be centered on the concept of Self-Awakening as we move into a season that, like us, is slowly rising from the cold of Winter and embracing a fresh start. With this in mind, I wanted to share some energizing essentials that are especially beneficial to both awaken and calm the mind and our spirits. I strongly believe that tarot allows people to access different aspects of themselves, and opens up a world of possibility. However, how the cards affect the reader and the receiver of the reading can be quite a different experience!
Today (October 1st) marks the first Aries full moon of the month. October is often a month full of energy, and this year it’s quadrupled due to the pandemic.
A full moon symbolizes power, clarity, and realizing growth. The fact we have two of these at the beginning and end of the month is not at all a coincidence. It’s time to act.
