3 Steps to Instantly Improve Your Mood
We’ve all been there. The curse of the bad mood!
Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can get a little grumpy, moody, sad, or low. This is completely normal and healthy. In order to grow, we have to accept that things don’t always go our way. But what if I told you that you could change your mood in just 3 steps?
1. First thing, first, what has got you down?
Trace your steps backward and see what it is that is putting you in a bad mood. Once you know what it is you can find out what to do to alleviate it next time. While you’re thinking… drink a glass of water - you may be dehydrated!

2. Accept it.
Sit with your feelings for 10 minutes and feel it all. I’d recommend journaling with some relaxing music and a few drops of essential oils in your humidifier. Get it all out, holding it in only makes it worse!
3. Once you’ve done that, close your journal and let that thing go.
Get some fresh air and take a walk - put your favorite song on and walk around the block, you’ll see by the time you get back - that mood is gone! Exercise is a proven mood-booster and ‘music is the strongest form of magic’ said Marilyn Monroe.
