If we don't give ourselves more information, we can ruminate it, and let it feel heavy in our body, heart and brain
When we get emotional, our heartbeats increase and we activate our flight or fight mode.

Dove found that over 50% of women find themselves to be their own worst critics.
It’s definitely important to be confident and happy with yourself. If you aren’t confident, anyone can see it.

For today’s blog, I wanted to add a further insight following from my Somatic Experiencing blog.
Now before people start with somatic experiencing, a lot may think it’s not for them, as they aren’t stressed, anxious, etc. But the beauty of somatic experiencing is that it targets the parts of your body where stress is being held.
Journaling is a great habit to pick up for a variety of reasons. You can keep track of your feelings, check-in with yourself, look back on memories, and so much more.
An awe walk is simply, taking a walk and thinking outwardly, instead of inwardly. This means you’re more thoughtful about the bigger picture and enjoying your surroundings, and less about yourself. The aim of these walks is to feel more mindful and admire the world around you. Without the distractions of other people and your mobile phones, you’re able to see things clearly and open yourself up to beautiful things.
