How To Have a Self-Care Halloween Weekend

Halloween’s looking a lil’ different this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate in our own special way. If you’ve got nothing planned yet, why not arrange a self-care date with yourself!

Self-care is such an important thing to add to your regime. When you’re kind to yourself, your self will be kind to you! Self-care is a simple yet effective act of love towards yourself, it can be as little as lighting a candle or going for a walk when you’re feeling blue. When making DIY masks, I try to just use ingredients I have in the house, such as oats, honey, and essential oils. Using natural ingredients helps me know exactly what’s going on my face and in my skin, a lot of the store-bought ones contain chemicals that sometimes do more harm than good. This way, it’s a little project of finding what I have in the cupboard. What’s more, essential oils give any mask that boost it needs.
